Two weeks ago, I did a craft fair at the Blueberry Festival in West Dover, VT. I wanted to make a couple of special "blueberry" items to go along with the theme for the craft fair.
I like the way these coasters turned out so much that I decided to make some more of them up to offer at the rest of my summer craft fairs (perhaps at my fall events too).
The blueberries are needle felted using dyed wool fleece from local sheep in our town. I embroidered a little on the blueberries and also around the edges of the coaster to make them pop even more. These would look great in any decor. I have a coaster that I made on my desk at the office so I don't leave wet rings on my desk with my water bottle. I just love them. They look very elegant just sitting on a table or a desk when you are not using them too!
